After we gathered all the information with the clear idea for the composition. I started to work on the final layout. During the working process, I also designed the simple animation for the website. The identity of UCA appeared slowly and then the lines slightly moving as a wave. The purpose of making this simple animation is to generate a memorable identity, which carries the creative taste and reliable feeling.
On the homepage page, the lines inside the identity of UCA would slight move as the intro page for making the website more interactive. And when the mouse over the icons of the different campuses, the icons would slightly jump up with a different sound.
Those sounds are recorded from different actions of processing works by Irene, such as the sound of cutting fabric, which is associated with the fashion course in Rochester; the sound of sketching for which is for Fine Arts course in Maidstone; the sound of clicking course for the Graphic course in Epsom and so on. The purpose of those simple elements could show the different personality of each campus, and allows for a more interactive experience with the users.
